Beskrivelse
Study and Learning in the University System is a book aimed at early year university undergraduate students and senior year secondary school students. The objective of the book is to provide a comprehensive guide to student learning in universities. The book covers issues relating to the selection of a university (including university rankings and metrics); university organizational structures and management - as they pertain to students. Study and Learning in the University System also looks at online education and the advent of MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses). In particular, this book covers the entire undergraduate learning process, beginning with practical basics; working through the problems and challenges that undergraduates face - and culminating in life after graduation - in the professional workforce or postgraduate research areas. Areas such as students working in external placements or internships are also covered as part of the undergraduate learning process. The book also provides details on undertaking projects, theses and dissertations while an undergraduate student.
