Strukturen Lykischer Residenzstadte

The work is arranged in eight chapters, glossary, bibliography, summary in Turkish, plate index, and plates. The first chapter deals with the Lycian residences in their urban planning construction; second chapter with reconstruction proposals for further residential cities in Lycia; third chapter with Kyaneai; fourth chapter with structural elements of planning (citadels, palaces, sanctuaries, agoras, dynastic necropoleis, aristocratic necropoleis, citizens necropoleis, fortifications, arsenals, water supply, street system, chora, art); fifth chapter deals with examples from Anatolia and eastern Near East comparable social structures; sixth chapter makes comparative analyses; seventh chapter with settlement hierarchy during Classical period in Lycia, and the eighth chapter deals with Limyra/Zemuri: the residential city of the Lycian King Perikle.
