Struck by the "Silent Killer" is the spiritual account of a pastor's coming to terms with illness, our relationship with God who would allow us to be stricken, and our role in recovering. Pastor Williams captures with great insight the conflicting emotions and responses that the faithful have wrestled with since Biblical times: Why is there illness and suffering in our life? Why should we pay for the transgressions of Adam and Eve? Is infirmity the work of God or the Devil? Are we the cause of illness due to our neglecting our health? How should we respond?
