Stringbean

Stringbean Sizemore, an introverted accountant, meets the vivacious police detective Valerie Tyndale. When she consults with Stringbean on a challenging case, he wonders whether her affection for him is true, or whether he is merely a useful asset. Before he can figure things out, the case becomes more intense than either of them would have imagined.
