It's a Labor Day weekend reunion on the old family homestead. John David Bradley, better known as Stretch, strives to keep his long arms and legs in line and fit in with his cousins. It shouldn't be too hard; they all love a good time and share the same aversions. But he stumbles onto family stories of the past that may change everything. Stretch and Sarah, a warm, humorous, touching story, is a combination of contemporary, with Stretch and the antics of his cousins, and historical, as we are transported back to the mid to late 1800s, and Sarah's adventurous life.
