Sleep is often very welcome. A chance to recharge the batteries and wake up refreshed and ready to go again. But sometimes sleep is disrupted. Things do go bump in the night and sweet dreams are quickly replaced by pulse-quickening nightmares. Their grip seems real. So real that we may not dare close our eyes. And with it the return of deep and very dark fears.
