"Wild Bill" had a big league fast ball and dreamed of the day he would be a Major League Baseball pitcher. He just turned twenty-two and was scouted by the then Milwaukee Braves when overnight he was stricken by polio. During his journey has faced other "losses" including the tragic death of his father when he was ten, colon cancer years later and deciding to close a successful company due to the aftermath of an FBI investigation finding criminal activity by a partner government agency.
This is a story of how Bill has learned to cope with adversity, tragedy, and disability by relying on the spiritual and he believes the mystical interconnections between baseball and his faith in God. He claims, "I'm still pitching at age 85. No longer baseballs. Now I am pitching ways for people to cope with a disability or other similar losses in their life.
