In the years following the American Civil War, a struggling veteran in the American West endures hardships and oppression while mourning personal loss. With criminal overlords, outlaws, and gangs dominating North Texas, Pierce Clayton is forced to fight back, evolving from farming to train robberies, and descends into a life of crime becoming one of the most notorious outlaws in the American West.
