Statistics

This book is concerned with statistics which is needed for studying AI (Artificial Intelligence). This book is authored by collecting slides in the lecture on statistics during one semester; each page is given as a slide. This book is intended for one who try to study statistics; it is composed of eleven lectures. Statistics is an area which is intended to characterize numerically the population using values about samples. The significance of this book is to provide a basis for developing machine learning algorithms in AI.
