Jim Wilmot is a promising young copywriter with romantic ideas about love gleaned mostly from his favorite books and movies. Erin O'Connell is a warm-hearted girl to whom he feels some kind of mystical attachment that does not seem quite idyllic. 



One spring night a modern Aphrodite invades his world, impossibly desirable and seemingly impossible to pin down. Should he give up Erin for what may be nothing more than a pipe dream, or try to rethink his notions about love amd marriage?
