She senses me, and that intrigues me. No prey has ever sensed me until I made myself known. But Elena is more than prey to me. I'm enchanted by her. I think I'm going crazy. I'm paranoid and jumpy. I feel like I'm being watched, but there's never anyone there. Maybe I'm just overworked and sleep-deprived. Maybe I should slow down, but how can I when I have to make ends meet on top of trying to save up for a better life?
