Beskrivelse
For a long time defined as a support activity for the other functions of the organization, human resources management now represents the function that allows a company to stand out from its competitors. Indeed, the expectations and demands of employees have increased considerably over the last few decades, to the point where they are now more likely to consider leaving their employer if their needs are not met. Our study focuses on the retention of staff in accounting firms in Burkina Faso. It was found that these firms have a high staff turnover rate, which is not without consequences for their performance. The methodological approach used during our work is essentially a quantitative study of fifty-five (55) individuals taken from six (06) public accounting firms. The results of our research reveal that the departures of employees are explained by their dissatisfaction with the working conditions and their non-involvement in the organization.
