Sri Maha Bhagavatam

Sri Maha Bhagavatam was originally written in Sanskrit by Maharishi Veda Vyasa at least four millennia ago. In the 13th Century AD, Sri Bammera Potana translated this epic into the Telugu language in such a beautiful manner that the translation many times read better than the original. Amongst the Telugu knowing public, it is not an exaggeration to state that there is hardly any one who has not heard at least one poem from the Telugu version written by Sri Bammera Potana. This book contains a translation of Potana Bhagavatam into English and is intended to help bring the melody and philosophy contained in this version to those Telugu speaking people who may not be able to follow such literary Telugu.
