Splinter of Stars

Life on the Double Diamond Ranch was evolving and to Jesse if felt like a rapidly spreading virus. He'd realized how angry he was at not just his parents, who disappeared, but at his family. He was angry about losing a good portion of his childhood, and really, seriously angry over loosing the only girl he'd ever loved during the hardest time of his life.

Maybe he needed to do something different, something that didn't involve his family. Who was he kidding, the stars would have to splinter before his life would get any better.
