Spirituality

Sitting on a hard church pew, singing words about "God," throwing words of "worship" at "him," all while pretending to not be afraid of that angry, external Being, are the activities of those whose "God" is far too small. Theology and beliefs are but an effort to squeeze an elephant into a small doghouse, or the whole Universe into one's own backyard. Beliefs constrict the human spirit and rob us of our "birthright,"-the kingdom of heaven within, as Jesus taught. Divine connection expands our capacity to be, to love, to celebrate, to create beauty, to experience harmony, and to share life with other pilgrims on this journey we call life.
