Over the tabernacle meeting rose the old man's shout, 'This is a phony religion, you dumb psalm-singers! There is only one true religion, and that is - ' Then, horrified, incredulous, the victimized worshipers beheld that defiant figure suddenly snuffed out in fire and smoke. For a new hysteria was sweeping the nation - headed by one who called himself the reincarnation of Zoroaster. His god was the Fire God, and men must pay tribute in money and adoration - or die! Hundreds perished in flames, and the police were paralyzed.
