It was a spell from a fake doctor on social media. Why was I tempted to say it? Owen. He was the one that got away. He even had the audacity to say I wasn't good enough to be his wife. Weird words, but whatever. The next day, a man grabs me from behind. My body responds to his ministrations with very pleasing results. When I stand up, I realize it's Owen. The spell worked. I can barely hide my glee until he says that I'm his fated mate. I've seen enough movies to understand what he means. It means all those years have been wasted. Except the spell won't let him leave without me accepting the mate bond!
