Specific Performances of SMEs of Apparel Industry

Innovation, research and development, together with knowledge and entrepreneurship, represent a key factor of industrial competitiveness and a fundamental element of sustainability and stimulation of economic growth, while SMEs are generators of the economic development of every society. The need for modernization of SMEs of the clothing industry by the implementation of technological and technical innovations and especially information and communication technologies (ICT), but also the inefficiency of such applications, explicitly point to numerous problems of work, development and sustainable competitiveness of SMEs, emphasizing the specifics of SMEs, clothing industry and developing countries.
