The text deals with possession and property, using the theoretical framework of Rudolf von Ihering, in his theory of possession as deriving exclusively from property, that is, the corpus, to identify the forms of extraordinary, ordinary, rural, urban, collective and indigenous usucaption, as forms of original acquisition of property.After a detailed analysis of the forms of usucaption, the aspects of the registration and annotation in the real estate register will be seen, since, as an original form of property acquisition, it constitutes a suitable means of registration and annotation.As usucaption is the original form of acquisition of the landlord, such institutes are based on the theory of the theoretical framework, Rudolf von Ihering, regarding possession and property.Rudolf von Ihering brings us the theoretical framework to draw the conclusion that possession only exists when there is full ownership, which is foreseen by the institutes of usucaption, in its various forms.
