The mention of Tamar, Judahs daughter-in-law, Rahab the Jericho harlot turned member of the commonwealth of Gods chosen people, Israel and Ruth, a Moabitess among the matriarchs of mankinds Messiah, teaches that adopting personal survival strategies is acceptable as long as they are done with faith in God.
