Before the days of Mainstreaming, Age Appropriate, and The Special Olympics, the Developmentally Disabled population was virtually ignored. People with Downs Syndrome were called "Mongoloids" and families were advised to put them in a home and try to forget they were born. This is one families' story about how love makes a difference. It is a tribute to a son and a brother who changed hearts and minds without saying a word. At times heartbreaking and hilarious this is a glimpse into 'the system' and the hearts and minds of administrators, and activists that will leave you questioning what really constitutes a disability and how although minds and bodies can be handicapped the heart's ability to heal, learn, and develop is limitless.
