Spanish Word Games

Have fun learning Spanish with this lovely collection of games. Topics include colours, pencil case, fruit, the farm, ice creams, the winter, the garden, the sea, pets, hobbies, the restaurant, tapas, weather, the summer, vegetables. At the front of the book is a dice with the numbers in Spanish on it and this can be photocopied and made to use with the games. The fun games are printed in colour and include snakes & ladders and other games in the style of board games, dice game, guess the word game, pairs card game and 3 in a row. For each of the games, the Spanish words are shown with a picture and the English word in brackets. The author, Joanne Leyland, is a qualified foreign languages teacher with 20 years experience in teaching languages to children. The suggested age range for this book is children aged 7-11 but the content may also interest children of other ages who are learning Spanish.
