The year was 2004. A new company had been formed by Patrice Jones who had her Ph.D. in mechanical engineering. Her husband's grandfather Ike Harper had a dual Ph.D. in physics and psychology and had just retired from a brilliant career as a government contractor and joined the company as its chief operations officer. But the company flourished at the hand of its CEO and Patrice's husband. Louis Jones was beyond a genius. He earned a Ph.D. in physics from MIT at the age of 21 and had started this company before the age of 25. With his wife, his grandfather, his mother Tricia, and his sister Samone working along with him, the Spacetime Security Company provided data security to government agencies and large corporations all over the world. The company also held numerous patents on inventions that were described as lightyears ahead of their time. The secret to their success was contained in the black power stone they had kept a secret. The stone, which was created in a previous timeline by Louis and Ike had been used to reverse the death curse that had followed Louis since his birth. But the secret was out. Government agencies and other companies were trying everything they could to get their hands on the stone. Their children, Jamar, Renee, and Jackson were caught in the middle of it all, with agents following them, breaking into their homes, and doing whatever they could to get their hands on the stone. It was a complex and thrilling game of cat and mouse that played out over years and through different timelines. And no one knew who would come out on top. Louis knew that the abilities they all had acquired from the black power stone were the only thing that could protect them from the coming attacks. He also knew that he might need to give them up in order for their family to stay together. He figured out how to transfer the abilities into the next generation, but it had better be absolutely necessary before he did it because once they were transferred, there was no way back. He also realized that if the people pursuing his family ever got hold of his kids, they'd torture them until they got what they wanted. So, Louis started teaching Jamar, Renee, and Jackson everything he could about using the powers they had chosen as survival skills so that they would be able to protect themselves against almost anything. In the end, it would be a choice they would make as adults whether or not to stay with their family and use their powers.
