This volume deals with the significance and effectiveness of social human rights, and especially the human right to work, from a multidisciplinary perspective and including areas of practical experience. The contributions approach the topic from jurisprudential, philosophical, sociological and political science angles and range from fundamental questions of legal systems and philosophical-normative issues to current problems of human-rights policy in the context of globalization.
