Southern Pine Beetle II

The southern pine has been studied extensively from a variety of perspectives since the early 1960s. Much of the emphasis has been directed to research, development, and application. The southern pine beetle was the focus of two major federally funded programs conducted between 1973 and 1985: the Expanded Southern Pine Beetle Research and Application Program and the Integrated Pest Management Program.
