The notorious "Michi Clan" and the "Anomaly Extermination Company" were at war with one another. The war began eons ago when two dreadfully powerful users of a force known as "Magica," which allows the magical talents of the soul to be enhanced and utilized, engaged in a ferocious struggle for dominance. The "Crystal of all control" was the more important source of power. These two formidable warriors desired to combine the crystal's strength with their own Magica, allowing them to achieve unimaginable levels of power. The Michi clan's enduring thirst for dominance and a deep-seated resentment dating back many centuries are the causes of this conflict. The pride of a once haughty man was the root of the resentment.
