Beskrivelse
Soular Souldier - 'poems on the road to love' - is a soulful collection of 114 Chay Tana poems from 1970 to 2007. Here's one soulful sample which also appears on the back cover of the paperback, plus a middle verse from the voluptuous title poem:
'In the Garden'
Did you see the garden fair
Where lovers weave songs in the air,
The golden symbol's resting place
The lonely souldier's dream?
We passed through there
And for a brief and happy moment
We found we were that beauty.
Did you see the garden there
Where we first loved
When someone cared?
Some people called it the common
But to me it was Shangri-La.
excerpt from 'Soular Souldier':
...
Somewhere there's a sun rising
And he wants to be there where she is.
Her golden home
There
Then
Reflects her golden glow
Reflects her own horizon
She clasps her heart about the sun
And sings of the soul who needs her:
"Woodsman woodwind piper playing
Wonder where you sleep at night
All alone you wander wildly
Restless heart you carry mildly
Wonder why you smile so loudly
Wonder why no tears are seen." ...
