Son of Dust

Jackaby struggles to find food and shelter day to day, stealing food to stave off starvation. Not yet a youth, the boy is easy prey to anyone who would take advantage of the weak and helpless on the streets of Bellport. Bathos is no worse than most, and better than some, and when he talks Jackaby into helping with a burglary events soon propel him to rise above the dust of the streets in which he lives.
