Sometimes the God's Sleep

The aliens arrived without warning and knocked down everything we threw at them. They had little interest in humanity, other than removing them as they went about their own pursuits. A few survivors have crawled out of the destruction and must try to stay alive while maintaining their basic decency and building some kind of civilization. Death and love live side by side in this terrifying landscape. But when all is lost there all still older, stronger Gods still around. The question is, what do they want?
