Some Christmas Stories and Others by Powell

These are fictional (probably) stories about baby and young Jesus. #3 is about a robber gang who helped the Holy Family get to Bethlehem; #9 is about a young boy warning the mothers of Bethlehem that the soldiers are coming--then the story, on its own, focused on the captain of the soldiers; #16 tells of a mountain of a man who helps the Holy Family. #26 tells of a coatless woman who met Joseph and a young Jesus. In the Others, # 40 tells of a remarkable teacher helping a neglected boy. Though I wrote these stories and have read them numerous times, some still bring a tear to my eye.
