Solid Steel Knife

Solid Steel Knife is the story of Eddie Romano, an ex-gangster who serves his time in prison and then tries to build a new life in a southern coastal town. In his new life, he finds himself financially entrapped by his past mistakes and hounded by his new business associates, who demand extravagant financial success. A murder occurs, and Eddie is the prime suspect. While he sets about proving his innocence, he must also deal with a personal crisis involving the woman he loves. On an emotional level, themes of friendship, family betrayal, redemption, bittersweet romance, and the cruelty of an uncaring, random universe are played out in an intimate portrait of a conflicted man. The kindness of strangers triumphs in the end.
