In the early hours of New Year's Day 1953, after cancelling a flight to evade a storm, Hank Williams hired a young driver to get him to his next show. Williams never made it to his next gig. He was found by his driver when he pulled in for fuel. Dead, at such an early age, leaving a legacy that would live on in all fields of music for decades to come.
