In 2017, Michelle tested positive for the ovarian cancer marker-the same cancer that cut short her grandmother's life. Faced with this reality, Michelle asked herself: If she only had twenty-five years left to live, would she continue down the path she was currently on? Her answer was a resounding NO!
In addition to making major life changes, Michelle set out to preserve the lessons and stories she wanted to share with her young daughter-capturing those big ideas, lessons learned, and tender words that her daughter, Z, could read time and again, even when Michelle was not physically able to be with her.
