Bertie bear gets a call from his Grandpa, who has hurt himself , to please come and help on the farm. Based in New Zealand. Bertie does all the farm chores feeding the animals and collecting the produce and then he finds a very old rundown barn. What he discovers inside amongst the dust is exciting and unexpected! Of course Bertie also shares the recipe for his favourite jelly biscuits after discovering it in a very old book in the barn. Perhaps it is the start of a picnic with the reader's own teddy bears, if there is an adult available to make them.
