Snoozers Awake

Farce meets satire in this comedy of science and politics, sex and religion, set in the UK. A top Home Office official dies suddenly on a train home, and his body is stolen from his own funeral by men in boiler suits. The outraged widow, rector and undertaker set off on a ruthless quest to retrieve the man's corpse. The three friends soon find themselves caught up in a complex web of bizarre, vicious and delusional plots. In the middle of the worst economic crisis the country has known, they knot these threads together - with terrible consequences for the Home Secretary's trousers and the whole Government. But they do get the body back. This is a tale of ambition, desire, delusion and chaos.
