This engaging book consists of two parts, told by a schoolteacher to his students: Our Planet, and Seasons. Author, Anya Beltsina, along with her character, a schoolteacher, hopes to increase young readers' interest in the place they call home and wishes to strengthen their desire to explore the Earth. Our Planet describes the solar system and the physical characteristics of our planet, like the four layers of the Earth as well as the other planets in our solar system. Seasons describes the seasons and personifies Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. These short rhyming stories complement each other and ensure educational yet entertaining quality reading time.
