Sleep Tight! Mindful Kids

A self-care activity book for children aged 7+ to doodle their way to better sleep and rest.

This book includes fun, simple and encouraging activities to help children explore their emotions, behaviour and experiences of resting and sleeping well.

Children can use their creativity to combat negative feelings and learn more about why sleep and rest is so important.

More children are suffering with mental health issues, such as anxiety and digital addiction, so sleep is a big concern as they struggle to fully switch off and get a good nights' sleep.

The quirky illustrations will keep readers entertained and focused as they work through the book - or simply dip into the pages for ten minutes of calming colouring.

Written by Dr Sharie Coombes, child and family psychotherapist, with an introduction and notes for grown-ups. Sharie is a former teacher who retrained as a child and family psychodynamic psychotherapist, neuropsychotherapist, solution-focused therapist and specialist paediatric hypnotherapist. Sharie gained a doctorate in education from the University of Brighton in 2007 and now works with the psychosocial team in the British Red Cross Refugee Support and International Family Tracing team.
