Why I wrote this book?
I was inspired to write this book during the coronavirus lockdown to give children and families hope during an unprecedented time of great uncertainty and loneliness. The lockdown, social distancing and quarantine meant that the world had changed almost overnight and we had to find new ways of doing life. In the midst of every challenge there's always a positive take away; for my daughter, this meant spending more time with Daddy while he worked from home. It was also a great opportunity to introduce her to more sustainable practices as the environmental benefits of lockdown became evident with improved air and water quality, reduced noise pollution and animals coming out to play around the world.
