Beskrivelse

Dear Reader,

I have worked on this book for over a year. You will occasionally see flashback and flash forward content as I tell my story. This book is not a work of fiction. It is a true story about my life. I am not writing the story of anyone else that came across my path over the last 41 years. Their life is their story to tell, not mine.

I want to share my journey with others, not to seek revenge, but rather to bring awareness and support to fellow warriors. I had to use pseudonyms to protect innocent bystanders and to stop those who would attempt to gain from the pain they inflicted. Names have either been omitted or changed. I have given myself the name Elizabeth Clarke.

I am opening myself up in a way that can never be undone. While I hold the guilty responsible, I have forgiven their transgressions so that I can heal my wounds. Never again will they be able to hurt me.

I pray that my journey will help others who are walking the same road find light in the darkness.

Tina Louise Milligan
