Sins of My Father

MATruth and Licensed Counselor Collene Garland reveal their personal stories of growing up without that all important father figure in their lives. Overcoming that social construct and moving on with their lives has been a struggle not uncommon to many yet they managed to get through it all. MA shares much of her young years unaware her paternal family were literally living in the same neighborhood as herself, yet never knowing any of them as family. Eventually the secret is revealed by her dying grandmother's request and then another fascinating journey begins learning of those she never knew.
