For those who have been struggling with what to eat due to diets different than the mainstream, here's to putting the joy back in eating This book presents a collection of recipes that promotes a return to a whole foods, plant-based diet, with some comfort food and dessert recipes thrown in for those in transition. All recipes are vegan and gluten-free and avoid five of the eight most common food allergies (milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, and wheat). Soy recipes are identified in their own section. Peanut and nut recipes are used sparingly. Modifications to some recipes have been made to accommodate corn allergies as well. These recipes can be enjoyed by everyone, not just those on special diets.
