Charmed by Roberto, the artist, Michelle, is drawn into the beauty of his coastal city. Her aunt is fascinated with Colin, the well-traveled and handsome Brit, who invites her to accompany him on a location scout in Morocco. While the younger couple dines out, a thief steals a few paintings, including a commissioned work, from Roberto's home studio. Why would anyone take the seemingly low-value paintings? Intrigued, Lindy begins to develop a theory, leading them into a quest for answers.

As they follow a trail of intrigue across Spain and Portugal, Lindy and Michelle stumble into a sinister plot that could cost all of them their lives.
