Short's Stories

Short’s Stories is the first in a series recounting the author’s life and travels. Ronan Short was born in London, England in 1940 and raised at the British National Institute for Medical Research, where his father was in charge of the research animals.

His early life was full of adventures and encounters. This first volume—Bomb Dropping, Hampstead, North London 1940¿–1949—is a humorous and witty account of his childhood in Hampstead, and his family’s move to Mill Hill.

Ronan is surprised to be still writing and remembering.
