Shaun O. Smith

In this eponymous collection of poetry, Shaun O. Smith looks to properly define himself as "poet" through his work. The Sophomore ensemble allows the reader to see what Shaun is trying to portray to himself when he looks at his thoughts in the mirror. What is herein displays the philosophical, existential, and emotional ideas that Shaun walks around with daily. By sprinkling hints of humor throughout Shaun reverses the public persona he puts on and clearly shows the reader who he is on the inside.
