This is an assortment of recipes from the treasured archives of Joyce Holt's cooking library. Accumulated over many years of cooking for family & friends and catering for large & small occasions, the recipe's source is as varied as the recipes themselves. Each recipe has benefited from the love and knowledge that Joyce has for cuisine of all kinds. Joyce's love of cooking has been transferred to her children and grandchildren so with this in mind she embarked on a project to ensure that her favourite recipes were not lost to her family. When her friends heard what she was doing they too requested a copy, so she decided to create a cookbook that could be enjoyed and appreciated by all. Most of the recipes are easily prepared with simple ingredients and are suitable for everyday family meals but with a bit of creativity they can also be served for any formal occasion. As the recipes come from Joyce's personal collection, there is no nutritional information available. Some of them are definitely not low fat or low-cholesterol but each comes with the guarantee that they've been enjoyed for years and they prove that traditional, basic cooking never goes out of style
