Muhammad II (al-Fateh) is one the great military leaders in Islamic history. At the age of 21, he conquered Constantinople (Istanbul) and brought an end to the Byzantine Empire. The selection of this book is in the process of Ihyaa al Turath al Arabi fil Mahjar (Revival of Arab Heritage in Diaspora project under: Shakhsiyyat Islamiyyah-Islamic Personalities series sponsored by the Arab American Encyclopedia for the purpose of serving young Arab generations in Diaspora. The Publisher author is an Arab Palestinian scholar. His interest is providing knowledge about Arab Muslim literature and civilization. He authored and published tens of books. Dr. Yahya resides in Michigan, USA, has four children and ten grandchildren.
