Inspired by poets such as Saul Williams and Common, Jamaal loves to use metaphors and similes to described different emotions and feelings of love. His poetry tends to focus around ideas of love, hate and empathy always trying to connect the spiritual world to reality. With this book he highlights parts of his soul and emotional tribulations as he journeys through uncharted areas of life and love.
