Beskrivelse
J. R. Barth gives a detailed description of his experiences as a helicopter pilot during the Vietnam War. It's a highly personal story about the combat operations he experienced as a Huey pilot and commissioned officer in the 191st Assault Helicopter Company in the Mekong Delta in 1970-71, and includes his recollections of the Americans he served with and the Vietnamese people he knew. In direct fashion, he tells of his failures as well as his triumphs. A majority of the proceeds from the sale of this book are donated to landmine and unexploded ordnance removal efforts in Southeast Asia.
