Humanity is faced with an invading army of blue-skin aliens hell-bent on devouring the Earth itself in a never-ending war between the future and an ancient enemy. Yet, it is from the past that salvation for the future of mankind will come - the Alpha Track - humanity's last best hope for survival. But in the midst of activation, the Shadowriders discover the possibility of our reality being only a simulation. A perception manipulated in a course of action presented within the psyche of a primordial intelligence, which seeks to understand man in order to stand in judgment over him.
