A dedicated police detective gets caught up in the death of a leading citizen & businessman, who has mob connections. When his sister who's been in hiding, claims his estate, the notorious crime family goes after her and anyone else involved. Meanwhile the detective gets caught in a budget crunch & goes to work for the U.S. Marshals.
